The Experience: Out in Springvale is a neat Australian/Italian cafe that boasts solid lunch and dinner menus, ranging from the traditional fare to a good range of burgers and even pizza to suit all needs. The venue and the staff are very welcoming and there is ample seating to compliment the fresh vibe.Burger Ordered: The Double Maverick with Chicken
The Taste: I went with the special burger but added some fried chicken. The chicken itself was tasty with a light coating that was still nice and crisp. One of the most impressive thing is the beef. The blend was delicious and cooked perfectly, pink throughout. The grilled onions were delicious, their length held in tact through the cooking process. Sauces were added on the top and bottom of the patty to tie everything in nicely between the structurally sound buns.
The Verdict: I was very impressed with the beef here at Cultural Commons. They serve top quality burgers with ingredients done well. This trendy venue will keep us bringing groups back over and over.
